Why do couples choose The Grand Ballroom for their reception?
So Much Space – The Grand Ballroom is the largest reception space on Mission Inn property, with 5,000 square feet of flexible space. This allows couples to plenty of room to enhance their weddings with fun extras like live bands, photobooths, custom dance floors and so much more.
Open Canvas – The room is a large open canvas which allows couples the ability to bring alive their wedding vision in a whole new way. The 14’ ceilings are perfect for adding ceiling draping, romantic lighting or even a chandelier or two.
Private Foyer – The Grand Ballroom features a private foyer filled with antique furniture collections. This space can serve as a nice place for guests to relax during the reception when they need a break from all the fun. Couples often maximize the ballroom seating by utilizing the foyer for placement of buffet lines and bars.
Maximum Occupancy –The Grand Ballroom can hold a maximum of 300 guests.
Table Layout – Custom floorplans can be created for the ballroom utilizing existing Hotel banquet tables. Many couples in the ballroom will also rent fun farmhouse or led tables to create variety in the room.
Dance Floor – Most often couples will place the dance floor in the center of the ballroom but it is really up to you! Our hardwood dance floor comes in 4’ squares, so you can have a square, rectangle or diamond shaped dance floor to dance the night away.
Plated or Buffet – Either! The Grand Ballroom does not have any restraints on how food is served to your guests, it is based on your preference. To maximize seating, many couples who choose a buffet dinner, will choose to place their buffets in the foyer during dinner service.
Cocktail Hour and Ceremony Space – Your wedding ceremony will take place on the gorgeous Plaza de la Fontana followed by cocktail hour in your choice of either Plaza de las Palmas or the Ballroom Foyer.

Hands down the best place to get married!! The day of the wedding Bri and the team helped set up the ballroom and it looked absolutely amazing. I honestly couldn’t have pictured a more beautiful room. When I walked into the ballroom for the first time I was speechless. They really went above and beyond to make my day extra special from the ceremony, cocktail hour, to ballroom. The food was also great!!
