Old Florida Marina Wedding
Gina and Toby celebrated their love on February 7, 2020, with a moody, Old Florida Marina Wedding. With a backdrop almost as beautiful as the loving couple, the day was sure to be a magical success. As we got to know the couple, we discovered more about how Gina and Toby met and fell so madly in love…
A few months after Gina made a giant move from Pennsylvania to Tennessee, she went under contract on a house. During such a life-changing time for Gina, she never could have expected what came next. As she was preparing to start her new life, Toby the home-inspector paid a routine visit, and there was an immediate connection. Their respective sparks turned into the courage to begin seeing one another and, as Gina puts it, “by the third date, neither of us could picture life without each other.” Toby eventually popped the question in St Augustine, Florida during their annual “Nights of Lights” Christmas festival.
As a couple, Gina says that their most memorable experience was on their first international trip together, when they first said “I Love You.” The magical moment happened on Lover’s Bridge in Lake Como, Italy. Since then, the couple continues to pursue their love of travel and have been on many more international trips together.
When asked what brought them to Mission Inn, they answered that the natural landscape and Old Florida feel of Marina del Rey was synonymous with their love for adventure and the outdoors. We can only imagine what future adventures are in store for Gina and Toby.
Gina was surrounded by her lovely ladies as she prepared for her big day in the bridal suite. With blue toned dresses and blue bridal boots, Gina didn’t need to worry about finding a last-minute “something blue.”
It’s always important to have family nearby to calm your nerves and take your mind of off the excruciating wait before you get to see your soon-to-be spouse!
Gina and Toby shared a super sweet first look in Plaza de las Palmas.
Their outdoor ceremony at Marina del Rey could not have been any more magical. With the space covered in the golden light of a Florida sunset, the lighting set the perfect romantic mood.
Gina and Toby took portraits in several different spaces on the Mission Inn property, each more beautiful than the last. It’s so amazing to look back and see the friends and family that stood by you on your big day.
It’s all in the details! The adventurous couple gave out luggage tags as their seating cards and favors. We couldn’t think of anything more fitting.
Gina and Toby made sure to think of everything for their guests. They even had corn hole available to play! Not to mention a mouth-watering dessert display that any party goer would appreciate.
