Jacqueline's mom arranging her train

Jacqueline & Dan

Ceremony: Plaza de la Fontana
Reception: The Grand Ballroom

Jacqueline and Dan held their Central Florida Destination wedding under the sunshine state’s unforgettable sunset at Plaza de la Fontana.

The couple wanted a wedding that was classic and elegant that still reflected their fun and whimsical style.  They decided on a clean, simple color palette of navy and white with accents of lush greenery and pops of light pink floral.   Jacqueline chose a romantic ball gown styled wedding dress with a large train. Dan went with a navy suit accented with brown leather accessories and a pop of white floral.  The bridal party wore navy to compliment Dan’s suit.

The reception was held in Mission Inn’s Grand Ballroom.  The room was elegantly appointed in white linen with navy blue chairs and white chiffon ceiling draping.  The focal point of each table was a fragrant display of white roses and eucalyptus. The party went late into the night as the couple wowed their guests with a choreographed first and last dance.

Jacqueline and Dan wanted their wedding to be a true destination wedding.  The couple’s wedding guests enjoyed a full weekend of activities, including a friendly round of golf, a girl’s spa day and a “shotgun wedding” trap and skeet tournament.

Such a fun couple from start to finish and we wish them years and years of happiness!

From the Couple:

What a fantastic wedding venue! We planned our wedding while living in New York City, and every step of the process was so easy with the fabulous staff at Mission Inn. I grew up in the Orlando area and when we got engaged my lovely mother went looking at wedding venues and she absolutely fell in love the beauty and ‘Old Florida’ feel of the Mission Inn. Since we were unable to fly down, we used FaceTime to see the property and speak with Bri (who is wonderful!) and just knew that this was the place for us. It was so easy to plan from a distance with the staff at Mission Inn. Our coordinator, was an absolutely dream to work with and helped us with all of our rentals from linens and chargers to swagging the grand ballroom ceiling. Everything about our wedding day was flawlessly executed by the staff. Their professionalism and attention to detail was truly impressive and we didn’t have to worry about a single detail on the day. It was wonderful to be able to just enjoy our special day without worrying about any of the details. I also have to mention that it was so wonderful to find a venue that is all inclusive. With the vast majority of our guests coming in from out of town, we really wanted to make sure that all of our events were in one location and that there would be plenty of activities and restaurants for our guests to enjoy throughout the weekend. Mission Inn absolutely fulfilled this dream and our guests are still talking about the beauty of the property, how friendly and accommodating the staff was, and how much fun they all had golfing, hitting the pool, and playing shuffle board. We are so grateful for the wonderful staff at Mission Inn and couldn’t recommend them more highly. It was truly a magical weekend.
