Incomparable Memories

Andrea and Richard's first kiss

Andrea & Richard’s Destination Wedding

Ceremony: Plaza de la Fontana

Reception: Patio Del Sol and El Conquistador

Andrea and Richard were looking for classic and simple elegance for their destination wedding.  They found the perfect location at Mission Inn Resort.  Their intimate brunch ceremony took place at Plaza de la Fontana.  Andrea wore a beautiful lace detailed dress which complimented her groom’s gray tuxedo.  The reception was hosted in our El Conquistador restaurant with access to a beautiful tiled terrace.  The couple wanted a look that complimented both their relaxed personalities and the garden setting.  The tables were decorated with white tablecloths and with pops of light and hot pink in the form of fresh orchids.  We hope all the very best for Andrea and Richard and we are so glad to have been a part of their wedding day.

Kind Words from the Couple:

The wedding ceremony was beautiful, peaceful, and perfect; and the reception was awesome, festive, and celebratory. We had so many compliments on the food and how delicious it was. Plus, our service during the cocktail hour and reception was exceptional! Kudos to all involved.

We would also like to thank all of the front desk staff who took care of distributing the “Welcome Bags” and making certain that all of our out-of-town guests were so well taken care of while they were at the resort. Again, we have heard rave reviews from all of those who spent time on the grounds.

Also, many thanks to the maid service that took care of our room, as well as the honeymoon suite, making sure that both areas were spotless and well kept during our stay. We appreciated so many people helping us and taking care of the small necessary details.

Not only would we highly recommend the Mission Inn as a venue for anyone planning a destination wedding, but we would also suggest all of our vendors. They were great to work with, and we could not have been more pleased with the service that was given to us. Everyone and everything was outstanding!!

Cara and Jared share an intimate moment on the golf course at Mission Inn

Cara & Jared’s Black and White Winter Wedding

Cara & Jared’s Black and White Winter Wedding

Ceremony: Plaza de la Fontana

Reception: La Hacienda

Cara and Jared had a beautiful winter wedding at Plaza de la Fontana here at the Mission Inn Resort. Their outdoor wedding ceremony was classic and romantic from start to finish.  Jared was a character from start to finish, making both us and the guests laugh and smile the entire day! The couple wanted the focus of the day to be on their union and the importance of each of their families.  Jared made his first kiss with Cara a moment to remember with a dramatic dip that caught the audience by surprise. After ceremony, Jared whisked Cara away for a private bride and groom moment with his new wife prior to the reception beginning. The couple chose to keep the colors classic and elegant with a black and white wedding reception.  The couple chose a three tiered white fondant cake with a simple crystal monogram. The cake kept the elegant feel the couple wanted and added a modern touch as well. After spending time with family and friends they had a dramatic sparkler exit in then drove off in a retro convertible as husband and wife.

Whitney and Brandon on the Mission Inn golf course

Whitney & Brandon

Ceremony: Plaza de la Fontana
Reception: La Hacienda

Whitney and Brandon had a beautiful garden wedding starting with an afternoon ceremony in our Plaza de la Fontana. The couple wanted a color palette that subtly hinted at the Groom’s deep love of the Miami Dolphins.   The couple decided on black, white and tiffany blue with bold yellow sunflowers throughout both the ceremony and reception space. Sunflowers lined the aisle where Brandon waited, looking over the water eagerly anticipating his bride.  The reception was held in La Hacienda, which featured white linen with classic white chair covers and with pops of tiffany blue in the napkins and chair ties.  Each table was topped off by a breathtaking bouquet of sunflowers! The wedding cake continued the look with a three tier white wedding cake with tiffany blue ribbons and sunflower sugar flowers.  Brandon was so surprised and in love with his Miami Dolphins Helmet groom’s cake. As the sun set in the distance, they ate, drank and celebrated with family and friends.

Audrey and Brad's first dance under dramatic ceiling draping

Audrey & Brad

Ceremony: Epiphany Celebration
Reception: The Grand Ballroom

Audrey and Brad were married at Epiphany Celebration Anglican Church in early August.  It was a beautiful but intimate church ceremony. After the ceremony, the couple made the short trip to Mission Inn Resort.  The guests were welcomed into cocktail hour while Audrey and Brad took time to be together and do photos around the grounds of the property.  The couple held their reception in the Grand Ballroom. The shades of pink, green and silver created a sleek garden feel inside the room. Ashley McCormick captured every intimate moment during the big day from the bridesmaids helping Audrey get ready all the way until their first dance together as a married couple. Brad and Audrey skipped the traditional cake toppers and opted instead to do cutouts of each of their home states for a true reflection of their union. Brad and Audrey couldn’t keep their eyes off of each other during this flawless day.
